Basswood, Ebony, Ivory, Bakelite, White Gold

A variety of influences generated "Rush Hour"; a one-of-a-kind sculpture. All of the information is inlaid into the wood. The ebony and ivory were recut from old piano keys. The bakelite was recut from 1940's gambling chips. The border surrounding the mirror is water-gilt white gold. This unique piece hangs in the music room of a home in California.
